REPORT ON COUNCIL
April 11, 2011
Committee of the Whole Meeting: 9:00 am to 10:15 am, 12:30 pm to 12:55 pm.
Regular Evening Meeting: 7:03 pm to 7:20 pm
Mayor Millar, Deputy Mayor Lawrence and Councilors Warren and Wishart present
Absent – Councilor Claire

CONFIDENTIAL / CLOSED SESSION: 10:15 am to 12:00 pm

BUILDING PERMIT STATISTICS
March 2011 permits totaled $1,169,000, down from $2,070,000 in 2010. Year to date totals are $2,570,000 in 2011, down from $3,387,000 in 2010.

HEAVY GARBAGE PICKUP
The county still has not made a decision re continuing this service past 2011. The township representatives are pressing for the service to remain.

GENERAL NOTE
The meeting, apart from the closed session was very brief. The Auditors from BDO Dunwoody stated that they have not completed this year’s work but did present a confidential letter in the closed session.
