Habitat for Humanity ReStore Opens

If so, the new ReStore in Midland offers a wide range of new and used building materials for the shopper who likes a good deal. Items are donated every week and include kitchen cupboards, windows, lighting, tools, doors and paint, among many others. There is always something new to find at the ReStore! But it isn’t just the local cottager that benefits from the building materials available for purchase. All of the proceeds, except operating costs, go to Habitat for Humanity North Simcoe. The non-profit organization takes a strong stance on pro-homeownership and provides opportunities for people within the community to earn a safe place to live. Since its inception, the organization has built three homes in this area, helping families who might not have had the opportunity to own their own home. Located at 253 Whitfield Crescent, operating from Wednesday to Saturday each week, the ReStore is a great place to go to for a deal on your next renovation project. And know that your purchase will contribute greatly to helping a low-income family experience the pride in home ownership.
